Notified body for electromagnetic compatibility according to European Directive 2004/108/EC and in accordance with italian d. lgs. of 6 november 2007, n. 194.

Sicom may issue certificates of compliance, valid throughout Europe, for the following specific areas of expertise:

• Radio and television receivers;
• Industrial equipment;
• Medical and scientific apparatus;
• Information technology equipment;
• Households and electrical equipments for domestic use;
• Network devices.

• Sicom is accredited by the Italian authority according to the ISO 17025 standard for performing RF testing, electromagnetic compatibility test, Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) measurements and for testing according to the technical standard 3GPP TS 51.010.
• The laboratory is qualified by RINA, italian notified body for railways applications.
• Sicom cooperates with the major certification laboratory in Romania ICMET.
• Sicom is Telit Competence Center for test and certification of devices using Telit modules in Europe, Middle East and Africa.
